What SitWeHere is

A personal-growth companion. An AI writes to you in the voice of your future self, using what you tell it about your life and what you write in your journal.

It is software. It is not a person, not a therapist, and not a substitute for professional help.

Not a medical or crisis service

Nothing here is medical, psychological or financial advice. If you are in crisis or at risk of harming yourself, contact your local emergency services or a crisis line — this app cannot help you in that moment and does not try to.

Your account

One account per person, and you are responsible for keeping access to it. Tell us if you think someone else has got in.

You must be 18 or older to use SitWeHere. It is built for adults, and it responds to writing about mental health in ways that are not designed for children.

When you create an account you confirm that you are old enough and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. We record when you agreed and to which version of these Terms. If they change in a way that matters, we ask you again before you continue.

Paying

To start, you choose a plan and add a card. Your first 3 days are free, and the plan is charged to that card when they end, then every month or year until you cancel. Cancel before the free days end and nothing is charged. A small amount may be charged to confirm the card; it is refunded straight away. Where paying from your country is not open yet, new accounts get 30 days of Plus without a card instead.

Subscriptions renew until you cancel, and cancelling keeps your access until the end of the period you have already paid for. Prices vary by country and are shown before you pay.

Payments are not refunded, including when you delete your account, except where something went wrong on our side. The refund policy at sitwehere.com/refunds has the details.

What you write

Your journal stays yours. You keep ownership of everything you write; you give us only what is needed to run the service for you — storing it, and sending relevant parts to the providers listed on the Privacy page so a message can be generated.

By agreeing to these Terms, you consent to what you write, including about your feelings, health and wellbeing, being processed by the AI services named in our Privacy Policy to create your messages, reflections and replies. That is the only purpose it is used for, and you can delete all of it at any time.

What the AI writes

Generated messages can be wrong, repetitive, or simply not land. They are prompts for reflection, not instructions, and acting on them is your decision.

Ending it

You can delete your account and everything in it at any time from Settings, then Privacy & Data. We may close an account that is being used to abuse the service or other people.
